UK-France fishing rights row

Fishing rights for EU boats in UK waters was a key stumbling block to negotiations for a Brexit trade accord between London and Brussels, which threatened to sink the deal, has resurfaced again. Britain said it would grant just 12 out of 47 applications for new licenses for small EU boats and 75 applications from French boats, to fish in its territorial waters. In this edition, Spotlight interviews Ian Williams senior analyst at Foreign Policy in Focus out of New York and Tony Gosling historian and investigative journalist from Bristol to shed more light on the issue.
