Palestinian jailbreak

Six Palestinian men have escaped from an Israeli maximum-security prison at Gilboa, causing extreme embarrassment to the occupation.

The six freedom fighters pulled off the biggest jailbreak in decades using nothing but a rusty spoon to dig their way out. In revenge, the Israelis arrested members of their families and imposed punitive measures on prisoners as a form of collective punishment.

Celebration erupted at the news of their escape, with Palestinians everywhere taking to the streets in solidarity. The six men were later recaptured, blocked from seeing their lawyers and tortured badly at the hands of the Israelis.

Although their freedom was short-lived, the hope they have given others is enduring. They are a symbol of a resistance movement that is alive and strong, and have shown that the occupier can be overcome. Their escape is a victory for the Resistance front and the liberation of Palestine.
