World Cup qualifiers: Argentina 3-0 Bolivia

Lionel Messi has scored a hat-trick for Argentina in a 3-nil win over Bolivia in the World Cup qualifying campaign, to overtake Pele as the top international goal-scorer in South American football. 

Newly joined PSG, Messi,, got the opener after 14 minutes, with a beautiful curling effort from just outside the box. 

Argentine talisman made it 2-nil in the 64th minute with a calm finish after working a one-two with Lautaro Martinez. 

With two minutes remaining, Messi scored his 79th international goal from a rebound from close range, which lifted him above Brazilian Pele as South America's top international scorer with 79 goals.
