Turkey may consider Taliban’s request for airport management

The Taliban is in talks with Turkey and Qatar concerning the management of the Kabul airport. French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian says the airport now lacks air traffic control services after the US military completely withdrew from the country. Le Drian said the airport needs to be secured as soon as possible so that commercial flights can continue functioning.
