French league: Mbappe brace on Messi debut
In French League 1, Kylian Mbappe has scored a brace on Lionel Messi’s debut for Paris saint Germain, as they claimed a 2-nil away win over Reims.
It took PSG 15 minutes to open the scoring with Mbappe powering home a header on Angel Di Maria ’s inch-perfect delivery.
Mbappe then tapped in a second, following a counter attack led by Achraf Hakimi down the right side before Messi was introduced for his PSG debut after 66 minutes, replacing Neymar.
Yet, there were no more goals as the visitors secured their fourth victory of the season that sent them back to the top of the table with a 100 percent record.
