Tokyo Olympics: Zverev claims men's single gold

Over tennis news, Alexander Zverev has won the Men’s singles gold in Tokyo Games, after defeating Karen Khachanov of Russia in straight sets.

Zverev who humiliated gold favorite and World No.1, Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals, dominated the opening set by taking it 6-3. The German who dropped only 1 set en route to final, continued his ruthless performance and easily defeated the Russian 6-1 in the 2nd set to pocket the gold after 79 minutes.
