Rescuers in India's northern Jammu and Kashmir administrative region on Thursday searched for survivors after flash floods left at least seven dead and 19 others missing, local officials said.
Indian army and State Disaster Response Force teams scoured the Kishtwar area.
Footage showed uprooted trees and damaged homes in the aftermath of the flooding.
"We have experienced floods in the past but never of this scale," said survivor Mohammad Iqbal.
