Eid ul-Ghadir commemorations

In this edition, Spotlight interviews Mehdi Taeb founder of al-Qaim Seminary from Qom and Morteza Agha Mohammadi researcher in strategic studies from Johannesburg, to take a look at the significance of Eid ul-Ghadir feast and why it is celebrated every year by world Muslims. Eid ul-Ghadir, held on 18th of Muslim month of Dhu Al-Hijjah, is among most significant feasts of Shia Islam. Prophet Muhammad appointed Imam Ali as his successor on Eid ul-Ghadir in 632 AD.
