French hold anti-vaccine protest

Since about two weeks ago, protests have been almost nonstop in France after President Macron announced more restrictive measures for people to get vaccinated against the Covid virus.

The main source of protests is the health pass, an e-document that people in France will have to show before entering public places. It should prove that the person is either vaccinated or has obtained a negative PCR test. Protesters say this is a violation of individual liberty.

Medical experts say vaccination is the only efficient way to push back the Covid-virus. But they add that the French authorities should have used the method of communication and education, instead of new restrictive laws and a health pass.
