AFC cancels annual awards 2021
The Asian Football Confederation has canceled the 2021 AFC annual Award.
The AFC Executive Committee made the decision in cooperation with the Qatar Football Association, as the ceremony was decided to be held in Doha in November. Based on the AFC statement, the event was called off because the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to severely impact the lives and livelihoods across the globe. It's the 2nd successive year that the AFC Executive Committee agreed to cancel the event.
