The USA Basketball team have wrapped up their preparations for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics, with an 83 to 76 victory against Spain in Las Vegas.
The Americans started on the back foot, going down 18-14 after a quarter, before reducing the deficit to 2 points at half-time.
The Americans made their move in the 3rd, outscoring Spain, to take a 57 to 50 lead into the 4th, where both teams scored 26 points. Damian Lillard scored a team-high 19 points for the US, while Ricky Rubio had a game-high 23 points for Spain. In the Tokyo Games, The US are drawn with Iran, France and the Czech Republic in Group A. Meanwhile, Spain will face Japan, Argentina and Slovenia in Group C. The Group Stage will start on the 25th of July.
