Italy beat Spain on penalties to enter Euros final

Italy have advanced to the Euro 2020 Finals after edging out Spain 4-2 in the penalty shootout in the semifinals at Wembley Stadium.

Following a goalless first-half, Italy managed to break the dead lock in the hour mark when Fedreico Chiesa scored with a brilliant curling effort from a rapid counter attack.

But Italy’s advantage was cancelled with 10 minutes remaining when substitute striker Alvaro Morata netted the ball with clinical finish after a one-two with Dani Olmo.

Both team couldn’t score in the extra time therefore the match was sent to penalty shootout, where Morata’s weak penalty was saved by Italian Keeper before Jorginho scored the winner after rolling ball into the bottom right. With victory, the Azzurri will play in the final for the 1st time after 52 years and will awaits for the winner between of the match between England and Denmark which will be held on Wednesday.
