Chinese astronauts complete first spacewalk at new space station

Chinese astronauts of the Shenzhou-12 crew have completed their first spacewalk on Sunday (July 4), state media CCTV reported.

"Wow! It's so beautiful outside," Chinese astronaut Liu Boming said as he moved out of the Tiangong space station.

Astronauts Liu and Tang Hongbo installed equipment and extended a panoramic camera outside the core module, while astronaut Nie Haisheng stayed inside the cabin, the media said.

The Chinese Manned Space Agency said all the scheduled tasks conducted during the spacewalk were a complete success.
