Over basketball news, the Milwaukee Bucks have reached the NBA Finals for the first time since 1974 after defeating the Atlanta Hawks 118-107 for a 4-2 triumph in the Eastern Conference finals.

The Bucks who were playing without injured Giannis Antetokounmpo for a 2nd straight game took a 4 point lead after the 1st quarter before taking a 47-43 lead into the break.

Milwaukee came out firing in the 3rd, outscoring the Hawks to push the gap to 19 points at the end of the quarter. Atlanta made a desperation run in the 4th and never got closer than seven as the Bucks earned the right to duel the Western conference champions Phoenix Suns in a best-of-seven that will tip off Tuesday in Arizona.
