French airport workers protest over pay conditions

Paris airport ground-staff workers staged a demonstration on Thursday at Paris' Orly Airport.

Three labor unions have called for a strike over the weekend. Unions are protesting a plan by Paris Airports (ADP) to modify working contracts and the suppression of certain bonuses.

Protesters blocked the entrance to boarding gates at one of Orly's terminals, one of the two big Parisian airports.

ADP has said the strikes would have limited impact on flight operations from Paris with some flights possibly being delayed, ADP's CEO told RTL radio on Tuesday.
