Unmarked graves unearthed at former Catholic Church-run school in Canada

Hundreds of unmarked graves, many believed to be of children, have been found at the site of another former Church-run residential school in Canada.

The graves were discovered during excavations at Marieval residential school in the province of Saskatchewan.

The school was used to teach indigenous children European cultural values.

Last month, the remains of 215 children were discovered at another former indigenous residential school in British Columbia.

Thousands of indigenous children in Canada were forcibly separated from their families during the last century to be sent to residential schools.
