French Open: Djokovic claims 19th Grand Slam

World number one Novak Djokovic has claimed his 19th Grand Slam title after clinching the French Open for the second time by defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas in a 5-set thriller.

It was a neck and neck contest from the onset with Tsitsipas overpowering Djoko in the first set tie-break.

The Greek remained consistent in the second and took it 6-2. But the Serbinator found his rhythm and flipped the script on the Greek in the third set, beating him 6-2 before cruising to another 6-2 win in the fourth set to send the match to a decider.

The Serbian Ace capped off his ruthless performance by grabbing the 5th at 6-4 to end the 20-21 Roland Garros final after four hours and 12 minutes.

With his 19th Grand Slam trophy, Djokovic became the first man in 52 years to win all four majors twice and he is now just one grand slam title shy of Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.
