Turkey started a normalization phase after three weeks of lockdown. A 15-day-long period of eased but not lifted restrictions has started in the country as daily numbers of new infected started falling.

Due to the measures taken during the holy month of Ramadan, the numbers decreased from 60,000 per day to something near 10,000.

Turkish president said the country hoped to overcome this pandemic as the new waves across the wold has badly affected the situation in Turkey.

He also stressed the importance of taking the vaccine to overcome this phase so that Turkey could go back to normal life soon.

Experts say that the gradual normalization would not result in another increase in the numbers of daily infections. They also advised citizens to minimize their home visits to relatives and friends as well as stay away from shopping malls and crowded areas.
