Persepolis of Iran have taken a step closer to the last 16 of the AFC Champions League, with a 4-nil thrashing of India’s Goa.
Shahriyar Moghanlou fired Persepolis in front 24 minutes into the match with his shot slipping through the hands of the Indian keeper.
Mehdi Torabi added a 2nd for the Iranian outfit from the spot, on the stroke of half-time.
Issa Alekasir killed off the contest only 2 minutes after the restart with a clinical finish.
And Kamal Kamyabinia completed the rout in the 58th minute as Persepolis have made it 4 wins out of 4 to top Group E on 12 points, while Al Wahda are in 2nd with only 7 points.
