Lining up for donated clothes and a warm meal are more than a hundred men who’ve survived western-backed wars in the Middle East and Africa and a death-defying journey to get to the UK.

A former bank employee Kinan is a Syrian asylum-seeker living in temporary accommodation in the Welsh city of Cardiff.
