Based on a report by AIHRC (Afghan Independent Human Rights Commission), over 100 civilians including women and children were killed or wounded over the last six days alone.

The rights body called international community to put pressure on both warring sides mainly the Taliban to redue violence.

This comes as both the Afghan government and the Taliban accuse each other of targeting civilians but facts on the ground show that terrorist groups such as Daesh and Taliban are responsible for much of the civilian casualties.

Afghan civilians lose their lives on a daily basis while the country's peace process is going to enter a new phase with separate summits in Russia and Turkey.
