Hyundai's Ott Tanak wins WRC Arctic rally

Hyundai driver Ott Tanak has claimed the WRC Arctic Rally in Finland while 20-year-old Kalle Rovanpera stepped up as the championship's youngest ever leader.

The Estonian driver who led from the start, registered 2 hours, 3 minutes and 49 seconds on the final day of the event to finish 17.5 seconds clear of Toyota's Rovanpera.

Belgian Thierry Neuville was third for Hyundai. In the WRC provisional Standings and after the 2nd round of the season, Rovanpera took the championship lead after collecting 39 points, while Neuville is 2nd with 35 points.

Meanwhile the Defending and 7-time Champion, Sebastien Ogier and his Welsh team-mate Elfyn Evans are tied on 31 points, and sit in 3rd and 4th respectively. The Croatia Rally is the 3rd race of the season and will kick-off on the 22nd of April.
