Paris Saint-Germain has sacked Manager Thomas Tuchel on Christmas Eve, with former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino set to take over.

Tuchel has paid the price for a slow start to the season, as PSG is still trailing Lyon and Lille by a point in the table, after suffering 4 defeats in 17 Ligue games. The 47-year old manager, who joined PSG back in 2018, leaves a lasting legacy at Parc des Princes, delivering 6 domestic trophies, and guiding the club to a first-ever Champions League final, where they lost to Bayern Munich.

It has been reported that Pochettino, who has been out of soccer since leaving Tottenham in November last year, has reached an Initial Agreement with the Parisians.
