This screen grab from the footage shows a snowy scene in Ohio.

A winter storm was predicted to dump six to 14 inches (15 - 35 centimeters) of snow across northeast Ohio.

Heavy snowfall covered roads and caused some power outages early Friday (December 25).

Forecasters from the National Weather Service said the snow will intensify through Christmas day and continue into Saturday.
