Spanish La Liga: Eibar 1-3 Real Madrid

In the Spanish La Liga, Real Madrid have beaten Eibar 3-1 away from home as Los Blancos moved up to 2nd in the table.

Madrid started the contest with great intensity as Karim Benzema put them in front, just 6 minutes into the match.

The Frenchman became provider 7 minutes later, when he robbed an Eibar defender in the box and cut back for Luka Modric to sweep home.

The hosts reduced the deficit before the 30th minute, as Kike Garcia curled a Powerful Strike into the top-right corner from 25 yards.

Yet Los Blancos put the game to bed in stoppage time when Lucas Vazquez laid down the finisher, after more good work from Benzema, 3-1 the final score.

For the time being, the title race in the Spanish La Liga revolves around the Capital Clubs, as Atletico and Real are setting the pace level on points, yet Diego Simeone’s men have 2 games in hand. Sociedad and Villarreal are inside the Top 4, while Barcelona are battling in 5th.
