Berliners rush to non-essential shops before closure

Berliners rush to non-essential shops ahead of their closure on Wednesday December 16.

Berliners take advantage of the last day of shops being open before the impending lockdown, even if it means waiting in long lines. Non-essential shops, schools and nurseries will close from Wednesday to limit the spread of COVID-19.
