Pakistan, Israeli normalization
Finally the normalization of relations between Israel and the UAE and Bahrain, two Muslim majority countries, was officially announced and unsurprisingly attracted widespread criticism in the Islamic world and most Muslims including the Muslims of the subcontinent strongly condemned the move and called it a betrayal to the Palestinian people. Also Pakistan, home to one of the greatest Muslim populations in the world, was no exception and became the scene of protests against the agreements and in support for the Palestinian cause. Now this week's episode of "The Subcontinent" will focus on the reaction of the people and government of Pakistan to the normalization of ties with Israel.
