Along with worldwide condemnations of the insults of Prophet Mohammed, Palestinian scholars in the Gaza strip held a rally to denounce the cartoons as well as Emanuel Macron's anti-Islam remarks.

Palestinians also called the whole Muslim world to boycott French products in protest to the anti-Islamic campaigns in the country. They said the campaigns have nothing to do with the freedom of speech.

Macron supported a French teacher’s displaying of cartoons insulting the Prophet of Islam in his class. He declared “France will never renounce caricatures," defending the teacher for “promoting freedom.

Palestinians here say they won’t accept any insult or offensive cartoons of the prophet Mohammed under the pretext of freedom of expression, vowing they will defend the prophet by all means.
