At the time, U-S President Donald Trump was holding a ceremony in the White House for foreign ministers of the Persian Gulf States, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain to sign agreements with Israeli Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu to normalize relations with the occupying regime, hundreds of Palestinians from all walks of life and from the different political factions have staged a rally in the city of Ramallah against the controversial agreements. Earlier in the day, similar demonstrations were also held in other west bank cities.

Here in Ramallah, leaders of different Palestinian factions took part in the demonstration, officials from rival groups Fatah and Hamas stood side by side, stressing that the betrayal of these Arab regimes that rush towards the normalization with the enemy, has led to unite Palestinians and strengthened their position. The Palestinian groups led by Hamas and Fatah agreed on a unified field leadership including all factions that will lead comprehensive popular resistance against the Israeli occupation.

The Palestinian Authority has repeatedly said that any deal with Israel should be based on the Arab Peace Initiative reached in 2002 on the principle of land for peace and not peace for peace as Israel claims, anything else Palestinians say, is agreement of shame and treason.

Today Palestinians have unified as the UAE and Bahrain sign normalization agreements with Israel. Palestinians say the deals won’t undermine their will to achieve independence and end Tel Aviv’s occupation of their lands.
