Bahrain’s decision to normalize ties with Israel has once again sparked outrage among the Palestinians who view the deal as another stab on their back following [an] earlier normalization deal between the United Arab Emirates and Israel last month.

Palestinians from various factions, including Hamas, have unanimously condemned Bahrain's decision, describing it as betrayal of the Palestinian cause and support for the occupation.

In reaction to Bahrain-Israel deal, Palestinian Authority immediately called back its ambassador to Bahrain.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised Bahrain's decision, saying it marks a "new era of peace.”

This comes as experts say the peace will not end Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian territories.

US president Donald Trump is to hold a ceremony in Washington for signing the normalization deal between Israel and the UAE. Bahrain is also expected to send its delegation to Washington with its foreign minister attending the event.

Even if more Arab countries would follow in the footsteps of the UAE and now Bahrain, Palestinians insist normalization of ties with Israel amounts to giving up the holy lands and recognizing the Israeli regime that has always been considered as an occupying enemy.
