Hamas leader calls for unity among Palestinians

Head of Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, stressed that a concerted effort is underway by the US and its certain regional allies to undermining the Palestinian cause.

In a presser in Beirut after a meeting among Palestinian factions in the Lebanese capital, Haniyeh stressed that US so-called deal of century targets al-Quds, seeking to end the resistance of Palestinians.

The meeting among Palestinian factions put a three level strategy to face what they called a strategic threat. The Hamas leader also spoke of another strategy based on resistance inside Palestine while building bridges with all states and movements which can support the political will of the Palestinian people.  Experts believe that unity is the most significant step for the Palestinian people to regain their rights in light of a complete Israeli-US denial.

During a weeklong stay to Lebanon, Haniyeh visited officials and Palestinian refugee camps where he stressed that no Palestinian faction inside Palestine will concede the right of return. Lebanon is home to some 190 thousand Palestinian refugees distributed among 12 camps.

Done-approved “Hamas chief has stressed that the issue of al-Quds and the Palestinian plight as a whole is a unifying issue For Arab and Muslims despite some Arab regime’s stances. The focus now is on the strategy of facing attempts of those seeking to subjugate the Arab and Muslim worlds.
