US imposes curfew in Wisconsin city after unarmed black man shot by police
The United States has imposed a curfew on the city of Kenosha, Wisconsin, after an unarmed black was shot and injured by police.
With protests erupting in the city in the wake of yet another instance of African American victimization, in this case Jacob Blake, officials decided to impose the curfew.

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers said Blakewas hospitalized in a serious condition on Sunday evening.
Despite being unarmed, he was shot multiple times by police and sustained injuries, which triggered a protest in the city.
"We stand against excessive use of force and immediate escalation when engaging with Black Wisconsinites," Evers wrote in a tweet.
Aninvestigation has reportedly been launched into the shooting by the state's Division of Criminal Investigation, which said it would "provide a report of the incident to the prosecutor within 30 days."
The protesters have set multiple fires and gathered to protest against the incident, which marks another case of rampant police brutality and racism in America after the death of George Floyd, whose death at the hands of a white US police officer ignited nationwide protests.
