Colombian rider Daniel Martinez has won the Criterium du Dauphine on the final day after leader Primož Roglič pulled out.

Roglič withdrew before the final stage due to injuries in a crash on Saturday. However, American rider Sepp Kuss crossed the line before his teammate Martinez, who finished second in the 153 kilometre mountainous route.

Meanwhile, Thibaut Pinot who lost his lead in the final stage finished third.

With the result, Martinez finished the tournament as the winner, while Pinot and his countryman Guillaume Martin finished second and third respectively.
