We are back again with another special edition on the assassination of Iranian General Ghasem Soleimani. 

We start in Iran where millions of mourners turned out to pay their respects to him and his companion Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units.

Friday’s drone strike has triggered a bitter backlash against the United States and its forces in Iraq who had already been deeply unpopular in much of the country.

On Sunday, parliament voted to expel all American forces from the country’s soil. After the drone strike, Trump followed up on Twitter to threaten Iranians with the targeting of their cultural sites.

His comment drew immediate anger and faced a considerable amount of backlash and criticism across Iran and in the rest of the world.
