Video of Yellow Vest blinding shocks France

The shocking video of a Yellow Vest protester being shot in the face with a tear gas grenade is forcing France to acknowledge the near-deadly police brutality which Yellow Vests have endured every weekend for the past calendar year.

Here we see the protester talking peacefully, only to be brutally shot in the face. The shocking video's clarity has made it impossible for the case to be ignored by France’s mainstream media.

The innocent protester will lose his eye, joining more than 30 Yellow Vests who have been disfigured and disabled by police violence.

The video was taken in Paris at the march on their 1-year anniversary. The march never took place, as police revoked their permit at the last minute and then trapped protesters at a traffic roundabout. For five hours protesters were bombarded with tear gas and water cannons.

Throughout the protest police never dared to step in to stop Black Bloc vandalism, as they were only concerned with preventing Yellow Vests from leaving and marching peacefully.

Many believe the state purposely provoked violence in order to discredit the Yellow Vests, and on a day of rare media attention.

A police union spokesperson has claimed, without proof that the tear gas grenade was not shot by cops, in what many call an attempt at “fake news”.

The video illustrates what Yellow Vests nationwide have been courageously willing to face, and also why the average person has been too scared to attend their protests since April.
