People marched in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a and the city of Sa’ada to express support for retaliatory attacks on Saudi Arabia. Protesters chanted slogans in support of the Yemeni army and its allied Ansarullah forces who are engaged in the retaliatory attacks.

The demonstrators stressed that in case Riyadh continues its airstrikes and crippling blockade, more reprisal attacks will be carried out against the Kingdom.

On Sunday, the Yemeni army released the details of a major operation against targets in Saudi Arabia’s Najran. The offensive left at least 200 Saudi-led troops dead and injured. More than 2000 Saudi-led troops were also captured. The Yemeni army managed to take control of three Saudi bases and arms depots. It also liberated more than 150 kilometers of Yemen’s territory. The operation was the latest in attacks against Saudi Arabia since it began its war on Yemen in March 2015. The war has so far killed nearly 16000 Yemenis, mostly civilians

After their successful retaliatory operations deep inside Saudi territories, the Yemeni people who have gathered here say they support such retaliatory attacks unless Saudi Arabia and its allies stop their aggression against the war-battered country.
