Premier League: Leicester City 5-0 Newcastle

Over to world of football, Leicester City have continued their good performance in the Premier League after dismantling struggling Newcastle 5-nil at King Power Stadium.

The foxes came to the match in high spirits, having defeated Tottenham 2-1 last week at home. They got on the scoresheet after 16 minutes into the match as Ricardo Pereira put the ball home with a low drive form the edge of the box.

James Vardy doubled the lead for the hosts with a precise shot from close range in the 54th minute. Only 3 minutes later, Paul Dummett scored an own goal to make it 3-nil in favor of Leicester. Vardy scored his brace with a nice header from inside the box to make it 4-nil in the 64th minute.

And finally, just before the referee blew the whistle, the hosts put the icing on the cake when Nigerian international Wilfred Ndidi poked the ball into the back of the net . With the victory, Leicester moved up to 3rd, and in a mouthwatering encounter, they will play table toppers Liverpool in round 6 of the summit.
