Iranian president attended the UN General Assembly while announcing firmly that negotiation between Iran and the US is never an option. Iran’s presence in this year’s UNGA is different from previous years. Iran as the main member of the axis of resistance has appeared much stronger than the US and its allies.

In the past three to four years, a coalition of 5 members has been actually created; the American Reformist, led by Trump, Israeli extremists led by Netanyahu, Brexiteers led by Johnson together with the conservatives of the UK and last but not least the Saudi inexperienced kings led by bin Salman and bin Zayed. They meant to bring a new order to the Middle East and gain their part of benefits. But it seems that all of them are grappling with numerous challenges and have not been able to implement their plans. This shows that Iran’s position in the general assembly this year is stronger than previous years.

Iran is attending this year’s UNGA while being accused of helping Yemenis in attacking Yemen. The US has threatened to defend its Saudi ally by contemplating an attack on Iran. We shouldn’t forget that the Yemenis have suffered terribly due to Saudis’ attacks and this has provoked them to launch a retaliatory attack.

Statistics indicate that over 220 thousand people have been killed and of course a bigger number has been injured. About 20 million Yemenis are exposed to famine. Saudis’ attacks have inflicted 800 billion dollars of damage to Yemen and displaced millions of people. So I think the Yemenis have enough motivation to attack Saudi Arabia.

In addition, Yemen’s Ansarullah is part of the axis of government and there is no doubt that Ansarullah is a staunch ally of Iran. There is no doubt that all the members of the axis of resistance support each other strongly and they have created a united power and there is no doubt that if one member is attacked, other members will retaliate. But all this aside, we shouldn’t forget that the Yemenis have suffered terribly due to Saudis’ attacks and this has provoked them to launch a retaliatory attack.
