Tens of thousands of Rohingya Muslims, who have been living as refugees in Bangladesh, marked the second anniversary of their exodus from Myanmar.

In 2017, Myanmar’s army launched a brutal crackdown against them that sparked the exodus of more than 700,000 Rohingyas to the neighboring Bangladesh. The United Nations has referred to the army’s actions as “genocide”.
