Iran's Abbad Abad turns into flower and plants production hub
  • A small county in Iran’s northern province of Mazandaran has turned into one of the country’s major centers in producing plants and flowers. 
     
  • Mexican researchers are trying to help tackle the world’s plastic problem. They have created a bio-degradable plastic from the juice of a type of cactus, commonly called ‘prickly pear’.
     
  • Many people in the world are replacing plastic straws with paper ones to help the nature. But an entrepreneur in Uganda has come up with an even better idea: straws made out of sedge grass.
