Trump boasts of NK test suspension as ex-US officials call for new approach

US President Donald Trump this week has boasted of the absence of North Korean long range missile and nuclear tests while US-led sanctions against Pyongyang remain in place. Trump's advisor John Bolton said the North’s recent missile launches violated the sanctions. North Korea called Bolton a war maniac and human defect. Meanwhile high level former US officials say the current administration needs a new approach.
