Iran pardons 50,000 convicts on 40th revolution anniversary

Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has agreed to pardon about 50,000 prisoners on the occasion of the 40th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. The major amnesty does not include convicts who have committed economic crimes and terror acts.
