Martin Luther Kings dreams gone to waste

It’s been more than half a century since Doctor Martin Luther King Junior was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee. Perhaps the most iconic African American figure in modern history, Doctor King had a dream.

King is revered for advancing civil rights and equality for blacks through nonviolence and civil disobedience. In short, Doctor King wanted justice not only for the oppressed African-Americans, but also the poor. But with a quick look at the state of the affairs in the US, it’s easy to realize that Martin Luther King’s dream has still not turned into reality.
