UK rejects Venezuela elections, declares opposition as President

Britain has announced it will follow Washington’s decision to recognize a right-wing Venezuelan opposition figure as the country’s president. This comes as the incumbent Venezuelan president, Nicolas Maduro, has described the move a coup and vowed to continue resisting imperialist hostility toward his country.
