US anti-Iran conference in Poland
The United States has announced plans to jointly host a conference next month on Poland. In a statement, the state department, said the meeting will focus on Iran.
Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, says Washington is redoubling its efforts counter what he called Tehrans malign influence in the region. He also described the Islamic Republic as the most significant threat to the region. The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu along with a number of Arab foreign ministers has reportedly been invited to the event. Irans foreign minister has denounced both the US and Poland for hosting what he described as a desperate anti-Iran circus.
