NBA: San Antonio spurs 111-86 Phoenix Suns

Over to the NBA, the Spurs have powered past the Phoenix Suns 111 to 86 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio.

The Spurs were dominant from the onset to the end as they outscored the suns 29 to 20 in the 1st quarter before pushing their advantage to 13 points at the intermission. The hosts maintained their pace and were never challenged through the 3rd and 4th quarters. With the victory, San Antonio extended their winning streak to 3 games, while handing the Suns their 10th straight loss and the worst record in the NBA at 4 to 24.

The Toronto Raptors opened their 4-game road trip with a 123 to 99 away win over the Los Angeles Clippers. Serge Ibaka scored 25 points and grabbed 9 rebounds, while Jonas Valanciunas had 16 points off the bench for the Eastern Conference-Leaders, who ended a 2-game losing streak. The Clippers were led by Boban Marjanovic who posted 18 points. Next up for the Raptors is the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles will head to San Antonio to meet the Spurs.
