The United States is being stubborn by insisting on supporting Saudi Arabia despite Riyadh’s war crimes in Yemen, says a commentator.

In an interview with Press TV on Sunday, David William Pear said that the Yemeni people have been starving to death as a result of the Saudi-led war and siege since 2015, but the US is putting its economic ties with Saudi Arabia first.

“The Trump administration is just taking [the] stubborn attitude that they are going to back Mohammed bin Salman regardless of what he did,” Pear said.
