The United States’ imposition of unilateral sanctions on Russia and Iran will bring both independent countries together, says an analyst.

Washington plans to impose a second round of sanctions against Iran on November 5, months after President Donald Trump said he would pull the US out of a 2015 nuclear deal with Iran - officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Russia has repeatedly announced that it would stand with Iran in face of US sanctions.

Jakob Musick, host of the Voice of the Revolution radio, told Press TV on Saturday that the US had time and again tried to isolate Iran and Russia, but “instead it is bringing those targets of the US together,” Musick argued.
