Mother-to-child HIV infections rate in Uganda drop by 86 percent

Uganda has recorded gains in reducing the number of babies born with HIV from 310,000 in 2010 to now 5,000 in 2018. According to the country’s Aids Commission, every day, approximately 151 people get infected with HIV in Uganda. Of these over 44 percent are young people.
