Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic has thrashed Alexander Zverev 6-2, 6-1 in a flawless semi-final performance in the Shanghai Masters.
Djokovic never offered Zverev a breakpoint opportunity, and broke the German's serve on 4 of 6 occasions. Djokovic posted only 9 unforced errors to 24 for Zverev.
The Serb is targeting his 72nd career title and has won all 3 of his previous finals in Shanghai. Djokovic played his 1,000th career match against Zverev and holds an impressive 827-173 win-loss record.
